Pfaff makes popular embroidery machines, and getting designs onto them starts with the right file format. This guide covers Pfaff's native formats, which SewFlow output to choose, and how to create machine-ready designs for free.
Pfaff File Formats
Pfaff machines typically use VIP and VP3 files. With SewFlow, export your design as JEF or DST — a widely compatible format that Pfaff machines read reliably. If your specific model supports another format, choose the closest match in the export menu.
