Embroider Blocks Before Assembly
It's far easier to embroider individual quilt blocks while they're single layers, before you piece and quilt them. Hoop a cut-away stabilizer behind each block and stitch the design, then trim and assemble as normal.
Quilt Labels
- •Include the maker's name, date, and recipient.
- •Use a simple, readable font in a single thread colour.
- •Stitch the label on a separate fabric patch, then hand-sew it to the back.
